About This Project
duntrackersabah is an interactive web application providing comprehensive information about candidates and constituencies for the 17th Sabah State Election (PRN Sabah Ke-17, 2025).
This project aims to promote transparency, accessibility, and informed voting by presenting electoral data in an easy-to-use format.

Tindak Malaysia is an electoral reform non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting transparency and fairness in Malaysia's electoral system. This project relies heavily on their open-data initiatives and publicly available resources.
Geographic Boundaries (GeoJSON) - Sabah DUN constituency boundaries derived from
ArcGIS WebMap created by Danesh Prakash Chacko & YS Fang (Tindak Malaysia, 2020). Original sources: SPR Malaysia, DOSM, SPR Briefing 2014.
Ethnic Composition Data - Demographic breakdown by ethnicity for each constituency, essential for understanding Sabah's diverse electoral landscape.
2025 Candidate Information - Candidate data and nomination details compiled and made publicly available by Tindak Malaysia.

Malaysian Election Corpus (MECo) by Thevesh Thevananthan. Open-access database covering federal and state general elections from 1955 to present. Licensed under CC0-1.0.
Election Commission of Malaysia (SPR) - Registered voter data and official constituency information
Official Candidate Nominations - Candidate names and party affiliations from official nomination lists
About Me
Hi Toby here 😄, I built this small app cause I found myself overwhelmed one Sunday night by the long list of candidates.
I wanted a convenient way to assess each candidate & so I decided I'm gonna build this.
This project has been a slow burn on my pocket but I believe it's extremely important to help people make the best election decision as possible.
